I came to practise Yoga mainly because of the unease during menstruation in my 20s. But I didn't get serious after ten years later, in my 30s, after taking my teacher training in Hong Kong in 2008. After moving to Berlin and having children, I realize that how Yoga could do wonderful works on my physical and mental bodies. So I started to share Yoga with mainly women in a family centre in Berlin from 2014, up till now.

While my teacher training in Hong Kong was in a Power Vinyasa style, I went on practising other popular yoga forms in Berlin. I spent two years practising at Iyengar Yoga Berlin Charlottenburg and two more years with Asta Caplan, a Level Two authorised teacher in Mysore Ashtanga Yoga tradition. And now I am on a mission to spread Yoga in a traditional form, i.e. Yoga is not just a physical exercise. Yoga is a widely misused general term nowadays and when one says, 'I am practising Yoga.' That should mean, I am practising Yama (non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, sublimation of sexual energy and non-possessiveness) and Niyama (purity, contentment, self-discipline, self study and devotion to God/ Inner stillness), as well as physical exercises, breathing exercises, concentration techniques and chanting to restore the peace and harmony in your own body!

Namaste!
